60% of the video is about another boot that has failed, and not even about
the TOPIC 5.11 atac’s.. what a fucking mistake.
well that just fucking sucks. next time you should just buy them from 5.11
website or in my town we have there store. 5.11 does send you a new pair if
it’s the fault of faulty materiel or workmanship. they gave me a new side
pouch because it ripped but the wouldn’t replace my bag when it got
destroyed from shrapnel. just easier to buy it from them. they have really
good customer service.
Hey, I think there might be some confusion here. The boots with the tear in
them were actually made by ResponseGear – a company I can’t find much
information about. Also, to be honest, I got a new uniform voucher from my
employer so spending the $100 on new boots wasn’t really too big of a
concern! :p Thanks for your comments though tert!
they come with a warranty. you can return them and get a new pair.
i have never heard of responsegear. and its good that the employer gave you
a voucher. the boots we are given are shit for theater. so i have to buy my
own boots. boots dont last long in combat. no matter what company i am
lucky to get a year out of them.
I called Big 5 Sporting Goods which is where I bought the boots from and
they said they couldn’t honor anything after 30 days of purchase!
